KENNEWICK, Wash. – Real estate agents at RE/MAX in Kennewick were recognized Tuesday for their large contributions to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Children’s Miracle Network raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year.

RE/MAX agents donated $17,250 in 2016 to help children needing medical attention.

This donation is up 858 percent from the 2015 donations of $1,800.

RE/MAX leaders said not only does 100 percent of the money raised stay local, but it truly comes from individual employees taking action to help others.

“The fact that it’s our agents doing it, makes us all feel good,” said Dallas Green, principal managing broker at RE/MAX. “It’s not about a corporate check being given out – that’s individual contributions from each agent to the community to benefit their families.”

Children Miracle Network representative Josh Munson said the Tri-Cities is known nationally for all of the generous contributions the community has made.

“The Tri-Cities, time and again, has shown how much they care, especially with this 858 percent increase that RE/MAX is donating,” Munson said. “This community cares about its local kids, and we thank you, we truly thank you.”

RE/MAX has had a partnership with Children’s Miracle Network since 1992, and in that time agents of RE/MAX have donated over $147 million.
